Paths above Kyôto. Fudô Myôô. Incense near a temple in the woods like an errant monk on slippers.
Hiei-zan is impossible. A dream from which one has to wake oneself when getting stuck again.

Afgewend onheil
Zojuist zag ik de onheilsprofeet voorbijgaan, hij zat op de fiets. Ik zag hem vroeger vaak staan prediken, hij waarschuwde voor het hellevuur met een stem alsof hij het ons toewenste en een blik alsof hij er zelf al middenin zat.
Vanochtend nog zag ik een meerkoetje uitglijden op het laagje ijs van afgelopen nacht.
Hij zag er goed uit, de profeet, niet echt veranderd maar beter dan...
